State of the School Address for Trinity High School: 2024-2025 Academic Year

Dear Trinity High School Families, Administration, Faculty and Staff, Board of Trustees, and Central Board Leadership

As we embark on the 2024-2025 school year, it brings me great joy to share the exciting state of our beloved Trinity High School. Our institution continues to grow and thrive, firmly rooted in our Franciscan mission from the Charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph-Third Order of St. Francis to serve a diverse population within the low-income communities that surround us. We remain a loving, God-centered spiritual school family, committed to providing a safe, non-violent culture, a college-preparatory curriculum, one-of-a-kind spiritual retreat program, innovative internship program, and a comprehensive athletic and co-curricular program. This year, more than ever, we reaffirm our dedication to the beautiful young people living within our school's drawing area.

Growth and Enrollment
Trinity High School is experiencing remarkable growth. This year, we are proud to welcome over 450 students, marking our largest enrollment in the past 15 years. This significant increase is a testament to the trust and confidence that families in the southeast area of Cleveland place in our institution.

Faculty Expansion
To support our growing student body, Trinity High School's certified faculty has expanded by 15 members over the past two academic years. Our dedicated and passionate educators are at the heart of our success, providing exceptional instruction and guidance to our students. All certified staff salaries have increased by 30% over the past three contract years, making Trinity High School an attractive career teaching destination.

Financial Stability and Development
We are pleased to report that Trinity High School is financially sound and effectively managing its growth. Our prudent financial practices ensure that we can continue to invest in our students, faculty, and facilities, securing a bright future for our school.
Renovations and Improvements
Our commitment to providing a top-tier educational environment is reflected in the extensive renovations currently underway throughout the school. Notable projects include:

•St. Francis Field: We have installed a new all-weather track, a new parking lot, and fencing, enhancing both functionality and safety.
•Gymnasium: Our gym is undergoing a complete makeover, including a renovated gym floor and updated padding, providing a wonderful home court for our athletes and physical education classes.
•Classroom Reopening’s: We are reopening three classrooms that have been used for storage over the past two decades, transforming them into state-of-the-art learning spaces.

Community and Destination School
Trinity High School continues to be a destination school for many young families from the southeast area of Cleveland. Our Trinity High School family is THRIVING NOT JUST SURVIVING, thanks to the unwavering support and dedication of our students, families, faculty and staff, Board of Trustees and SSJ-TOSF Central Board Leadership.
