The Living Stations captured beautifully by Assistant Principal and Director of Religious Formation, Mr. Svoboda:
Each year it is a wonderful tradition that the entire school community gathers on Holy Thursday for a beautiful liturgy to celebrate the 3 holiest days of the year before we leave for Spring Break. These unprecedented times did not allow for that to take place today, but although we cannot gather as a family on this Holy Thursday, one beautiful tradition carries on, the performance and production of the
Stations of the Cross by our students. Many of our ministry students practiced tirelessly to perform the Stations to our Class of 2023 on their Freshman Retreat at Camp Christopher. The video was then all put together through the creative talents of Jack Maloney ’21, and premiered today.
From our Lord Jesus Christ down to each and every person, we are born to love, and lead others to love. Every person that prays this video with us, we hope is moved to love in their lives. To love God more fully, to love themselves deeper, and to love their neighbor beyond what they ever thought they courage to do. We hope that this beautiful production will allow all of us to reflect deeply, pray sincerely, and to bring God and His son Jesus more fully into these uncertain times.
We are proud that the Trinity Tradition of a Holy Thursday Prayer of the Living Stations will continue in all of us this year. This prayer could have easily faded away in these times we are in, but because of the love and passion of our students, this deeply moving tradition carries on this Holy Thursday.
