Junior Retreat was an amazing and successful event for the students and staff who participated and last night we culminated the retreat with several special moments.
Each of our juniors was prayed over individually by their small group leaders. After two days of sharing stories, opening hearts, building trust, and growing together, our dedicated faculty and staff had the opportunity to offer a special prayer for each student entrusted to their care.
There is something incredibly powerful about having someone take the time to pray specifically for you to remind you that you are seen, that you are valued, that your life has purpose, and that you are never alone on your journey.
Throughout this retreat, our juniors have been challenged to look within themselves, to recognize the struggles and gifts of others, to grow in their faith, and to understand what it truly means to be part of a community rooted in God’s love.
But perhaps the greatest lesson they will carry home is that they are loved, not because of what they achieve, how they perform, or who others expect them to be, but simply because of who they
We are profoundly grateful for our senior ministry leaders, who gave so generously of themselves, and for the faculty and staff who stepped beyond their roles as educators to become witnesses, mentors, and companions on this journey.
And to our juniors: Our prayer is that you leave Camp Christopher knowing how deeply you matter, how much you are loved, and how much light you have to offer this world.
The retreat may have ended, but the journey of faith, friendship, and personal growth continues.
May the lessons learned, the friendships strengthened, and the prayers shared over these two days remain in your hearts long after you return to Trinity.
This is the heart of Trinity. This is faith in action. This is family.
