Howley Medical Science & IT Expansion
The Howley Foundation has generously awarded a $750,000 grant to Trinity High School, to be distributed over the next two academic years. This life-changing investment will provide students with opportunities to graduate with career defining certifications in high-demand fields, setting them up for success in the healthcare and IT industries.
Through this partnership, Trinity High School students will be able to earn certifications that pave the way for exceptional career opportunities. These certifications will enable graduates to either enter the workforce in high-paying, full-time positions immediately after high school or work part-time while pursuing higher education.
The current medical certification program includes the highly sought-after Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification, which is in high demand at healthcare facilities. Additionally, we are actively developing the State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program as part of our future plans to expand our offerings further.”
In the IT field, certifications such as A+ (CompTIA IT Fundamentals), Networking+, and Security+ will provide students with a strong foundation for careers in the rapidly growing tech industry. Adding to this groundbreaking initiative, Trinity High School recently received licensure from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) to serve as an official testing site. This designation allows students to take nationally recognized certification exams that validate their skills and expertise, further enhancing their employability.
