Fans, it's been a great ride, but Trinity Trojan fall sports have come to a close. The fun and excitement all began back in August as our teams took the fields, sidelines and courts to make Trinity High School shine in the high school sports world. As our winter teams begin to prepare for competition, let's take a look at the teams' achievements.

The Varsity Football Team started their season off right with a 38-14 victory against Hawken. Varsity Football Assistant Coach Howie Spies said, "It has been a fun ride coaching this team. I'll miss the seniors who I have coached, many for 4 years. Good luck to all of them." There were times of defeat, and times of success but no matter the circumstance, this team always found a way to come back stronger. After suffering a loss, the team came back to defeat the defending state champs, Warren JFK 31-20, then rounded out their season with a 42-14 win over Lutheran East.

The Girls Soccer Team was very successful in their season efforts. The girls opened their season with a 3-2 win over a tough Lutheran West. The team had its ups and downs during the season, going 6-10-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference. The Lady Trojans continued into the post-season, but unfortunately fell short in the second round of tournament play. The Boys Soccer Team went back and forth during the season with many ties, but throughout their hardships, the four dedicated seniors took part in their leadership role and guided their team to be the best they could be.

The Varsity Volleyball Team ended with another great season, going 12-10 overall and 4-4 in the conference. Head Coach Susan Dezzutti reflected on the season by saying, "We started coming together as a team and really played well the second half of the season, with the seniors showing great leadership and focus."

Cross Country

The Cross Country Team continued to improve with many strong individual performances. The team had the NCL MVP and coach of the year for the White Division.

The Golf Team also had their trials during the season, but with help from two seniors, they led their team to many accomplishments.

As another fall season comes to its close, we reflect on all the amazing talent these young, dedicated athletes have shown during the past few months. The Trinity Trojan teams are strong, and will continue to strive for overall success!
