Placement exams for next school year have ended. If you are considering applying to Trinity, but have not taken the placement exam, please contact the Office of Admissions at 216-581-1061.

All eighth graders seeking admission to Trinity must take a placement exam. Trinity's placement exam, the High School Placement Test (HSPT), helps the admission committee evaluate a student's academic performance and place them in academically appropriate classes when they enroll at Trinity. The placement exam, unlike an entrance exam, does not determine whether or not a student is accepted to Trinity.

Students should arrive no later than 8:45 AM on test days and bring a supply of Number 2 pencils. Check-in/Registration takes place in the attendance area, which is off the school's main entrance that faces Granger Road.
