All eighth graders seeking admission to Trinity must take a placement exam. Trinity's placement exam, the High School Placement Test (HSPT), helps the admission committee evaluate a student's academic performance and place them in academically appropriate classes when they enroll at Trinity. The placement exam, unlike an entrance exam, does not determine whether or not a student is accepted to Trinity.

+ Pax et Bonum Scholarships
Ten students who score the highest on Trinity's placement exam will be named Pax et Bonum Scholars. Pax et Bonum Scholars receive a $3,000 scholarship for the 2018-19 school year should they apply and be accepted to Trinity.

Pax et Bonum ("Peace and All Good") was the greeting Saint Francis of Assisi extended to all persons he met. This scholarship challenges students to use their God-given intelligence and other gifts to bring peace and all good to the Trinity community and beyond. Pax et Bonum Scholarships are renewable annually, provided the recipient maintains a 3.6 grade point average and shows clear evidence of advancing the values and mission of Trinity High School.

+ Parent Information Sessions
Information sessions cover the high school admissions process and take place on each Saturday that a placement exam is administered. Sessions are hosted by a member of Trinity's admissions team; they begin at 9:15 AM and conclude approximately one hour later. Parents should gather near Trinity's front entrance where test registration is set up. We welcome all parents of prospective students to join us for these information sessions.

Students should arrive no later than 8:45 AM on test days and bring a supply of Number 2 pencils. Check-in/Registration takes place in the attendance area, which is off the school's main entrance that faces Granger Road.
