Oklahoma Christian University's Four Star Leadership Program

Students will be challenged with practical leadership and ethical scenarios and then asked to address them individual in a persuasive speech and writing competition, as well as collaboratively in an Ethics Bowl competition. The program includes team building exercises, spontaneous problem solving and coaching in persuasive speaking and writing. Working with a range of leaders including kings, governors, senators, and Olympic gold medalists, these students will have explored critical national and international issues such as educational reform, foreign policy and entitlement spending.

Kent State University STARTALK Foreign Language Academy

If you are an Ohio high school student, the Regents STARTALK Foreign Language Academy is an opportunity for you to start on your way to advanced-level proficiency in the critical-need languages of Chinese and Russian. This program is intended for students with no prior knowledge of the language. Students can receive up to four college credits, and you will live and study together in the Kent State Honors College.

Case Western Reserve University Pre-College Summer Programs

Case Western Reserve University's Pre-Collegiate Summer Programs fully immerse ambitious high school students in a college curriculum for three weeks. You'll experience conversations and activities just like our own undergraduates. Courses are taught by CWRU faculty, and you'll live on campus, eat in the dining hall and take full advantage of the culture and inspiration of our location in Cleveland's University Circle neighborhood. You can choose from the following programs: Imagine Science, Social Justice, Innovation and Entrepreneurship or Women in STEM.

Cleveland State University CPA Camp

At CPA Camp, students will learn about the exciting field of accounting and related business endeavors. Participants will embark on business tours, attend workshops and meet fellow students from the Greater Cleveland area. Students will leave CPA Camp Cleveland with a strong foundation in business and leadership to build upon.

Miami University Summer Scholars Program

The Summer Scholars Program provides a rich, early college experience for academically-talented rising high school juniors and seniors from across the globe. Students will join an engaged community of learners for an intense, two-week program in which they do the following: Participate in challenging, immersive academic modules centered on a specific topic or area of interest, learn alongside our leading faculty and professional experts, reside in a "living-learning" community with other Summer Scholars participants and get a real preview of college life—live in a residence hall, eat in our award-winning dining halls, and enjoy campus facilities such as our Recreational Sports Center and Goggin Ice Center, Attend special workshops on topics such as the college admission process and financial assistance. Get an insider's look at the college application process—learn about ACT/SAT test preparation, how to find the right college fit, how to write the best college essay, as well as get an introduction to financial aid and scholarships.

Boston University Summer Term

Prepare for success in college and discover new horizons at Boston University Summer Term. Malone University Summer Camps

Malone University is a place where students explore what God has in store for their futures. Regardless of where a student stands with questions of faith, we believe God wants to work in students through their classroom experiences, activities, athletics, relationships, residence life, and spiritual life to draw them to Christ's purposes. Academic summer camps at Malone University will give you a chance to gain valuable hands-on experience with talented professionals in your field of interest, and come away with new friendships, too! Ohio University Ohio Business Week

You will join high school students from across the state to learn how to take a business from concept to reality. In a small group environment, you will elect leadership positions and develop a business idea from one of your peers. Business leaders volunteer their time and resources to support each student and their journey in entrepreneurship during and after OBW. Each small group is assigned an adult that works with students the entire week giving their business advice and expertise. Not only do you learn skills to be successful in business, you will also spend a week on a college campus with others that will become life-long friends. Many additional activities enhance your experience beyond the business learning environment.

Cleveland State University Sports Management Summer Institute

Cleveland State University embarks on a new era of delivering quality educational and practical experiences in Sport and Entertainment Management. Classroom Lectures and workshops will provide a unique look into sport and entertainment industry. It's the perfect lead-in to that experience, providing hands-on opportunities right on the Cleveland State University campus, and in the heart of downtown Cleveland. You will engage with local leaders in the port and Entertainment industry, including leadership teams from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Teamwork Online, Cleveland State Department of Athletics and Live Nation!

Hiram College Garfield Crisis Simulation

Students will take on the role of U.S. government agencies, foreign governments and international organizations, to learn about the problems and talk through solutions. Teams of students will react to the others' move in real time as part of this hands-on learning experience.

Hiram College Emerging Writers Workshop

Students will concentrate on writing short, inventive pieces in multiple genres that integrate strategies discussed in the workshop. Participates will have the opportunity to share their work with others and gather feedback in order to make thoughtful and effective revisions.

Shining Star Cleveland
Attention freshmen, sophomores and juniors: Shining Star Cleveland will soon be accepting audition tapes from all genres of music. First place is a $10,000 college scholarship and the opportunity to perform with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. Second place is a $5,000 college scholarship, third place is a $2,500 college scholarship, and fourth place is a $1,000 college scholarship. Beacon College Summer for Success

This three week summer immersion experience prepares LD/ADHD students for the transition to college with personalized, strategic coursework as well as off-campus activities, while living on our campus in Leesburg, FL with other students who learn differently. Throughout the program, students develop the basic academic, social and planning skills that they need in order to become a confident, independent, successful college student. They will be able to immediately apply these strategies to their final year in high school and to the college admissions process.
