Summer Scholars at Notre Dame

Summer Scholars participants spend two intense weeks in one of 22 exciting programs of study. We keep the classes small and personal attention from Notre Dame faculty high. The coursework is a true preview of college academics—it is both rigorous and rewarding, and students earn one college credit upon the completion of a program track. Students collaborate on coursework outside designated class times, as they would in any college setting. There is also ample time to enjoy the social facets of college life, especially those unique to Notre Dame.

Pratt PreCollege Program: Brooklyn Campus

Each summer, Pratt Institute's PreCollege Program welcomes nearly 400 high school students for nearly a month where they encounter life as an art and design college student. Upon completion of the program, students earn four elective college credits accepted at most colleges and universities.

Bank of America Corporate Philanthrophy

Lake Erie College Learning About Business LAB

Mini MBA experience, providing an interactive business simulation, fostering creative program solving. With hands-on curriculum, the students work in teams to develop leadership skills, make executive-level decisions in a computer-simulation environment and come to understand the value of business in our global economy.

Ohio State University Accounting Careers Awareness Program

Students are introduced to accounting, finance, leadership and management. Local CPAs and business leaders share their experiences and provide tips for success. Students attend workshops, discussions, tours, mentoring sessions, business luncheons and a college fair. The program wraps up with an all-star awards banquet for students, parents, speakers and corporate sponsors where college scholarships and other awards are presented to attendees.

Oklahoma Christian University's Four Star Leadership Program

Students will be challenged with practical leadership and ethical scenarios and then asked to address them individual in a persuasive speech and writing competition, as well as collaboratively in an Ethics Bowl competition. The program includes team building exercises, spontaneous problem solving and coaching in persuasive speaking and writing. Working with a range of leaders including kings, governors, senators, and Olympic gold medalists, these students will have explored critical national and international issues such as educational reform, foreign policy and entitlement spending.

Cleveland State University embarks on a new era of delivering quality educational and practical experiences in Sport and Entertainment Management. Classroom Lectures and workshops will provide a unique look into sport and entertainment industry. It's the perfect lead-in to that experience, providing hands-on opportunities right on the Cleveland State University campus, and in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Hiram College Garfield Crisis Simulation

Hiram College Emerging Writers Workshop

NEW POST! Shining Star Cleveland
Attention freshmen, sophomores and juniors: Shining Star Cleveland will soon be accepting audition tapes from all genres of music. First place is a $10,000 college scholarship and the opportunity to perform with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. Second place is a $5,000 college scholarship, third place is a $2,500 college scholarship, and fourth place is a $1,000 college scholarship. Beacon College Summer for Success

This three week summer immersion experience prepares LD/ADHD students for the transition to college with personalized, strategic coursework as well as off-campus activities, while living on our campus in Leesburg, FL with other students who learn differently. Throughout the program, students develop the basic academic, social and planning skills that they need in order to become a confident, independent, successful college student. They will be able to immediately apply these strategies to their final year in high school and to the college admissions process.
