Each year LifeWorks Ohio, a non-profit, non-partisan organization devoted entirely to education which affirms the sanctity of human life, sponsors the Respect Life Art, Essay and Poetry Contest. This is an opportunity for students to write an essay, poem, or create a piece of art for a given topic. This year's theme came from Matthew 25:40 which reads "whatever you did for one of the least of my brother, you did it for me."

Students are challenged to incorporate this theme in a number of different sub themes. We are proud to report three students from Trinity achieved this goal for writing essays: Freshmen (from right to left) Nadia Hermida, (first place); Jayme Zoeckler, (second place), and Olivia Galek (third place).

We commend not only the students who received awards, but to all those who participated in the contest. Their courage, hard work and dedication make them all winners.
