On Tuesday, March 21, the Trinity student body will be involved in a series of activities that will vary from the normal school day. Below is a brief description of each of these activities.

All freshmen and sophomores will participate in the IOWA Assessment Program. IOWA Assessments measure student achievement in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. The IOWA Assessments Forms E and F, Levels 15-17/18 have been approved as alternatives to the End of Course exams (EOCs) for students in chartered non-public schools. These assessments are a requirement for graduation, per the State of Ohio.

All juniors are scheduled to take the ACT Test on March 21 at Trinity. The ACT Test measures high school students' general educational development and their capability to complete college-level work with multiple choice tests covering four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. Results from the ACT Test are used for college admission purposes.

As a measure of our commitment to the academic preparation and educational future of our students, Trinity High School will pay the registration fee for the IOWA Assessments, and the State of Ohio will pay for the ACT Test. There is no out-of-pocket cost for parents.

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be dismissed at 12:30 PM on March 21. Please plan for this early dismissal.

All seniors will be in regularly-scheduled classes on Monday, March 20. Due to testing on Tuesday, all seniors will report to their internships on March 21. Seniors will remain at their internships for a full day.
