On January 26, a group of students and faculty departed Trinity to travel through the night to attend the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Donned in their "Lifeguard" Pro-Life attire, the group was eager to return to the March, as weather prohibited attendance the last two years.

For over 40 years, thousands of Americans march on Capitol Hill in the largest pro-life event in the world. The peaceful demonstration expresses to our government that the intentional killing of innocent humans is a crime against humanity which neither a public official nor any human person has the authority to legalize.

In addition to participating in the March for Life, students attended Eucharistic Adoration and celebrated the sacrament of Reconciliation at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Before heading home Friday night, the group also spent time exploring the National Air and Space Museum.
