Monica Stadnik, a volunteer for LifeWorks Ohio and a 1979 Trinity graduate, spoke this week to our senior Theology classes (Catholic Social Teaching) on the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. Her main focus was abortion as she shared many stories of abortion survivors. Students in those classes are learning about the assaults against life, such as abortion, euthanasia, and capital punishment.
"She inspired me and emphasized how important the creation of life is," said senior Matt Wendling. "We truly appreciate the time and effort she took to speak to us."
Each year in January, Trinity sends over 50 students to our nation's capitol to represent our school's support of the Pro-Life movement. Our students join thousands of others from around the country in the March For Life to the Capitol building. |
