English teacher Katie Thomas congratulates the students who competed in Trinity's Shakespeare Competition. Each student presented a memorized monologue in front of guest judges from The Great Lakes Theater Festival and in-house judge Ms. Gina Ramirez. Competing students included freshman Anna Marie Maher, juniors Nate Campbell, Livia Raulinaitis, and McKenzie Merriman, and senior Katie Piszczak.
First place went to Katie Piszcak and the runner-up was McKenzie Merriman. They will both represent Trinity in the city-wide competition held February 27, 2010, at Playhouse Square.
