Students interested in participating in Cleveland Clinic's eXpressions competition for Language Arts should see Ms. Ramirez after school this week.
 
The IOWA tests will be given to select junior and senior students on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. All testers should bring two number 2 pencils, an eraser, scratch paper, and a book to read or homework to do if you finish the test early. You may also bring a calculator to use. Trinity will not supply calculators for this test.

Testing will take place during first and second periods each day in either Room 101 or Britton Hall. Report to your testing locations after announcements are finished. See Ms. Fritsch in the Business Office if you have any questions.

 
The Senior Leadership Team sells coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider every Friday before school and between first and second periods in the cafeteria. Stop down and grab something hot to drink! Coffee/Hot chocolate is $2, and Cider is $1. Refills are just $1!
 
Attention Juniors: Your money and order forms are due Tuesday, October 24, for Junior Gear. Please turn it in to Mrs. Kubit. If you need an order form or have any questions, please stop in Room 107.
 
If you are interested in entering this year's Cover Clash yearbook design contest and would like to find out more about this exciting opportunity, please attend an informational meeting in RLM3 on Monday, October 23, at 3:10 PM. The meeting should last no more than 20 minutes.
 
Trinity's fall play, The Crucible premieres Friday, October 27, at 7:00 PM in Trinity's gym. You don't want to miss your chance to see this riveting tale of the Salem Witch Trials, perfect for a scary October night. Tickets are $8 and will be sold at the door. Apply now for this scholarship, sponsored by Unity Catholic Federal Credit Union, that awards a total of $7,000 in funds to support Catholic education in the Diocese of Cleveland.

Four $500 scholarships are awarded to Catholic school students in kindergarten through eighth grade, and five $1,000 scholarships are awarded to Catholic school students in grades 9-12. The student/applicant must be an active member of Unity Catholic Federal Credit Union and be attending a Catholic school in the Diocese of Cleveland. The scholarships awarded will be by a random drawing, and all scholarship funds will be paid directly to the school listed on the application on behalf of the student. Click here for an application. Attention Ladies: Cuyahoga Community College would like to invite you to their "Black Diamonds Women's Conference" on October 27th and 28th. This two-day conference for African American women features top speakers. Students will gain valuable information on opportunities for educational and career advancement. Please pick up a flyer in the guidance office if interested, or visit Tri-C's website.
 
Attention juniors and seniors: The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education is sponsoring a "Free Speech" Essay Contest. Prizes range from $500 to $10,000 in scholarships. The entry deadline is December 31, 2017. Please see the guidance board for further information.
