The Girls Soccer Team won its season-opening match Tuesday, 3-2, over a tough Lutheran West squad. After senior Carli Sparks scored on an assist from senior Grace Hayes and Grace scored on an assist from freshman Summer Wroble in the first half to put the Lady Trojans ahead, senior Kaitlin Lightner scored on an assist from sophomore Katherine Walsh with 5 minutes remaining in the game to break a 2-2 tie and secure the victory.

Goalkeeper Lexi Jacobson made 4 saves behind the defensive line of seniors Kelly Maloney and Lauren Wessel, sophomore Bonnie Daniels and freshman Anna Ibos. Also contributing to the win from the midfield were junior Rachel Trent and sophomore Kaitlin Rezabek.

The University of Akron is hosting its Women in Engineering Program on Saturday, October 21, for young ladies interested in a career in engineering. If you wish to attend, click here to download registration materials. See Mrs. Wisinski with any questions. Registrations are due October 1.

The Director of Food Services is seeking an individual to provide general assistance in the cafeteria during the 2017-18 school year. Duties include preparing and serving food, washing dishes, and other general kitchen-related tasks on school days, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be dependable, in good physical condition, able to stand for long periods of time, and be capable of moderate lifting. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Anyone interested in joining Trinity's Photo/Video Club should come to an informational meeting this Thursday at 3:10 after school in RLM3. The meeting should be no more than 20 minutes. If you were a member last year, please come to the meeting as well.
The after school Homework and Writing Center has moved this year. It is now located in Room 212. Hours are 3:00-4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

The center offers access to computers, a spot to get a head start on homework, meet with tutors, or receive one-on-one writing assistance from Ms. Ramirez.

Please see Ms. Ramirez in advance if you would like an appointment specifically with her; otherwise, drop by anytime after school to utilize the center.

Ms. Ramirez is in search of tutors in all subjects to assist students. Please consider sharing your knowledge. See her as soon as possible if you can help.
