Dear Class of 2008 Scholars:

This is an exciting time of year for you! Your careful preparation in course work and co-curricular activities is quickly coming to an end and soon you will be graduated from Trinity High School.

One of the things that has always impressed me about your class is that from the very first day of freshman year you've demonstrated a desire to do things with both a flare of style and a desire for
excellence. Without question, the Class of 2008 has truly been a "class act" all four years that you have been here. Your end of the year celebrations need to reflect the same style and excellence that I have come to know as the hallmark of your class.

As you look forward to the days ahead and the traditional end of the year celebrations that surround graduation, remember that each of you shares in a tradition that is larger than yourself. You, your families, your teachers, and your friends will create many beautiful memories to take with you as you leave this school. And, because we place all that we do within the context of prayer, your celebrations are holy and sacred ones, too. The words of Jesus in Matthew's Gospel come to mind: "Where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them." Because your celebrations are grounded in prayer, and because of the tradition that you continue amidst the celebrating, your ending activities need to reflect both dignity and grace.

The senior events represent our school community's intention to be with you at this important time in your life. I expect you and your families to follow all directions exactly as they appear here so that you may share fully in all of the community events marking your graduation. By focusing on the togetherness that marks these events and by staying close to those who care for you, your final days of high school will be exciting, memorable, and blessed.

With gratitude for all we’ve shared and hope for the blessings of your future,

Carla E. Fritsch
