A Note to Parents
Trinity's application for admission must be accompanied by a transcript of the student’s academic record, which must be obtained from the school where your child is presently enrolled. This transcript must include a record of standardized achievement tests the student has taken. Be sure that the school registrar understands this requirement when you request the transcript. Because school systems take varying lengths of time to forward records, be sure to request transcripts at least two weeks before the application deadline.
Students applying for admission from Catholic elementary schools must:
- Take a placement exam (see timeline for dates and times)
- Interview with a member of the Trinity High School staff
- Complete the Diocesan application and list Trinity High School as your first choice
- Submit two recommendation forms (part of the Diocesan application)
Students applying from public, non-Catholic or non-Diocesan schools must:
- Take a placement exam (see timeline for dates and times)
- Interview with a member of the Trinity High School staff
- Complete a Trinity High School application and return it to the Office of Admissions
- Request a transcript from your current school. It must include grades and test information from grades six, seven and eight. A transcript request form is included in the application packet.
- Submit two recommendation forms
